Minsup safety claw couplings are commonly used in the mining industry, and are manufactured in three styles: European (Type A), American (Type B) and Australian (Surelock). The standard coupling heads ensure interchangeability of all sizes, regardless of whether the coupling is male threaded, female threaded or hosetail. All threads are BSP, with NPT available on order. The Surelock coupling is the first coupling designed specifically for 1 1/2” and 2” hoses. There are two body sizes in the Surelock coupling, 3/8” to 1.1/4” and 1.1/2” to 2”. The most commonly used coupling is the Type A.
